1. What this service is
InstaPraxis is a health platform operated by InstaDataHelp AI Services Private Limited. It offers two different things, and the difference matters:
- AI health screenings that you run yourself. These produce a screening indication — a score, a band, and an explanation of what it may mean.
- Consultations with registered medical practitioners who choose to practise on the platform, online or in person.
Do not use this service in an emergency. Call 112, or 108 for an ambulance. Chest pain, difficulty breathing, weakness on one side, a fit, bleeding that will not stop, a baby who is deeply yellow or not feeding, or thoughts of harming yourself all need a person, not an app.
2. Who may use it
- You must be 18 or over to hold an account.
- A parent or legal guardian may add a child's profile to their own account and use the service for that child. In doing so they accept these terms on the child's behalf.
- You must give accurate information. Age, sex and your stated conditions change how some results are calculated, so wrong details produce wrong results.
- One account belongs to one household. Everyone whose profile sits inside it can see the records in it, so do not add someone who should not see the others.
3. How to use the screenings sensibly
- Follow the on-screen instructions for light, distance and duration. A poor capture gives a poor reading, and the app will often tell you so.
- Treat a reassuring result as not evidence of health. A screening that finds nothing can still miss something: if you have symptoms, see a doctor regardless of what any scan says.
- Treat a concerning result as a prompt, not a verdict. Take the report to a doctor rather than starting or stopping any treatment on your own.
- Never change or stop prescribed medicine on the basis of anything this platform shows you.
- Anything that is new, growing, bleeding, itching or not healing needs a doctor's eyes, not a camera.
4. Consultations and prescriptions
- Doctors on the platform are independent practitioners. They are responsible for their own clinical advice, diagnosis and prescriptions. We provide the software; we do not practise medicine and we do not supervise their clinical judgement.
- Teleconsultations follow the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. A prescription is issued only by the registered medical practitioner, who reviews and signs it.
- The platform's AI may draft text, suggest safety checks or organise information for the doctor. It does not prescribe, and it does not counsel patients in place of a doctor.
- We do not dispense medicines and we are not a pharmacy.
5. Fees
Registration and the self-service screenings are free at present. Consultation fees are set by each doctor or clinic and are shown before you book. If we introduce charges for any part of the platform, we will say so before you are asked to pay.
6. Your account
- Keep your password to yourself. Tell us at once if you think someone else has it.
- Where a clinic creates your account, the first password is printed once on your first prescription. Change it when you first sign in.
- You may close your account at any time by writing to us. What we must retain afterwards is set out in the Privacy Policy.
7. What you must not do
- Upload anyone else's photographs, recordings or medical records without their knowledge and agreement.
- Present a screening output as a diagnosis, a fitness certificate, or evidence in any proceeding.
- Attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the platform, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission. (If you find a security issue, please tell us — see the grievance page.)
- Use the platform to harass a doctor or another user, or to book appointments you do not intend to attend.
8. Intellectual property
The platform — its software, design, content, the "InstaPraxis" name and the InstaDataHelp mark — belongs to InstaDataHelp AI Services Private Limited. Your records belong to you: you may download, print and share them freely.
9. Limits of our responsibility
We build this carefully and test it, but we do not promise that a screening is accurate for every person, every skin tone, every device or every lighting condition, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for a clinical decision you or anyone else makes on the basis of a screening output.
- We are not liable for the advice, acts or omissions of an independent doctor or clinic.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
10. Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction.
